From cool jazz combos to the power of the big band

English Jazz Orchstra's repertoire spans a full range of classic, contemporary and world jazz styles.

​

Our flagship professional-level English Jazz Orchestra specialises in the iconic band, vocals and strings sounds of Nelson Riddle, the Count Basie Orchestra, Ella Fitzgerald and more.  Our workshop swing bands and combos in North London and Oldham, Greater Manchester, play classic arrangements from the Golden Age of Swing including the music of Glen Miller, Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw and standards from the Great American Songbook. We teach small-group, jazz combo playing and singing.

An ENJO English Jazz Orchestra ensemble backs the fabulous Iris Ederer with 'How High the Moon' at the Great British Boogie Gala Night at Enfield's Dugdale Theatre on 18 October 2014'.

ENJO Jazz Orchestra performs a Ted Heath arrangement of the George Shearing jazz standard, 'Lullaby of Birdland'.
